Sorry for the updating so close to the previous one. But needed to add quite a few new things and wanted to make sure that the HELP Requests are seen by as many people as possible, to make it known to as many people as possible if you can't help with money. As in my case .

Sorry though that I couldn't update my Journal earlier, but had some bloody RL problems and slow workings of my ISP or dA or Both !! which made updating like working in molasses

UPDATE that slow response of dA seems to have been fixed ... so far

They got their Sh*t together !!

Well this is something I promised to do when I posted my Anti Official Entity Rant (ANSES(*)Argentina).

As I mention in the heading they got their Sh*t together and finally after several months of pestering some officials, mainly by an incredibly marvelous and efficient Bank Supervisor (Binaria Seguros de Retiro at the Head Office in Buenos Aires, the Insurance Company where I had deposited my Retirement Insurance money. ) I got my monthly payment updated (as well as quite a few other victims of ANSES.)
The next battle will be to ask for the accumulated difference since March 2009 through September 2009. But so far I am satisfied and I am sure that if they updated the monthly income is a direct recognition of their being at fault. I suppose, but then The Law is not particularly known for being logical.

(*) ANSeS stands for "Administración Nacional de la Seguridad Social" or National Administration of (the) Social Security.

Other Contests and Features

I am using a Special Edition # of my Journal to feature the winners of contests I offer as prizes.

In them I also announce some of the current Contests I am interested in participating and other Contests related info.

There is something very interesting and positive I want to share with all here.

As some of you -my friends- know, I won `jenepooh's Christmas in July Contest.

There were many very nice prizes, amongst them a shirt, and I was worried because sometimes things "get lost" in customs, or they ask some outrageous importation fees or taxes. That I am in no position to afford.

Anyway ^PurpelBlur (the donor of that prize) was a dear and helped me immensely to change it, and instead of a shirt I asked for two prints of some of my works, to present to my daughters.

The prints have already arrived and are fabulous, the quality of the print that is. The art ... well I made them, so what can be expected ... they are great !!

So ^PurpelBlur I greatly appreciate all your help and patience with all my questions.

I am featuring -permanently- all the beautiful images presented to me by my dear friends. I used to show them in the "ShoutBoard" but now I have LOTS so they deserve a nice space all to their own.
