Fractal - Phoenix bird ?
Added signature in PSCS2. Can't remember what script I used to start, this image is the result of several variations. I think it might have been a Julia. Sorry I don't have much of a scientific method for this I just get carried away.

I know nothing about fractals - but his looks great 
it has a very crystalline look to it - almost like ice crystals (even though its obviously a hot subject)
