This fractal is a copy of one of Piet Mondrian's famous "Tableaus" The original of this one was painted in 1922 and I downloaded the image used exclusively as reference from the Guggenheimer "Collection on Line" page [link] There is a very interesting brief history of this creation and the period.
As I mention in the submission it was made 100% with Apophysis 7X v.14 (parameters available by note)
I am posting it in the Fractals section of "Abstract Colours Contest" hosted by :iconkaz-d: ^Kaz-D See article :pointr: HERE

EDIT: Forgot to add that the only postwork done was the addition of the border, signature and text in Photoshop CS3. No retouching at all was done to the fractal itself.

I hereby authorize to :iconkaz-d: :icondragonwinter: to post the image in their journal as well as any other deviant, Clubs or Groups who would wish to exhibit it in their journals in dA only other sites please ask, :thanks: Thank you. :D

I am flabbergasted that you were able to do this with Apo. UF wouldn't be too difficult with layers and masking but Apo :faint:

Aww `FractalEyes I am really thrilled at your comment, coming from such a great fractalist  Thank you for it and for the :+fav: too :iconheartbeatplz:
As they say the PT function "is my friend" (or was really) also applied some things I've learned while participating in =f--l--A--r--k's Apo Challenges
I am very happy at how this project came up :D
As mentioned in the Artists comments the parameters are available to anyone who would care to "snoop" them. Just Note me

Thank you Thea for reading, I was beginning to think that either not many people know who was Mondrian and/or nobody cared to read the "Artists Comment" :( your comment and the :+fav: are greatly appreciated and encouraging

Thank you. Of course I know Mondriaan as I am dutch like him. Some years ago I visited an overall exibition of his work. With your work I immediately saw that it was Mondriaan, I did not have to read the comment to see that. I had no idea one could make a thing like this in apo though, great!

Of course, I didn't remember about your being Dutch too.  I wasn't sure if my idea could work out. It took me some trial and error but it came out quite well.
Thank you again for your support :iconadoration-plz::icondance-4u::iconpwincessnaveera:

I've always enjoyed the Flemish and Dutch paintings and painters, because of their works looking so real and their fabulous palettes too.
One of my favourite painters is Rembrandt more than a favourite an Idol really :D

No, I don't think there are any original paintings by Mondrian or many other by Dutch painters, here in Argentina, or at least available for public view.

Thank you so much Dave, I started to think that maybe not many people knew who was Mondrian and his work in the Abstract-Surreal movement of his era
