Aww Linley, you may not believe this but was thinking since yesterday about you and some of the other friends that may live in the NorthEast of Oz, I am soooooooooooooooooooo happy to see you on line. Truly was afraid to ask, anyway I am about to go to sleep or to bed at least but was going to note you asking how were things going around your area.

awww Martha, i was wondering why my ears were burning! aww u are so sweet:hug:
yes im fine , last week we had a cyclone go past here, but it missed us...thank goodness, we did lose power for 10hrs last saturday!!
But been watching the cyclone and floods on the tv all day, as its still all unfolding and the cyclone is still making its way through australia, now affecting south australia! and some of Nsw and Northen Territory as well, its huge!!

yes im okay!! oh theyre is a huge fire but down in the city!!! It has nt been controlled yet, they have got ppl out of their homes but 20 homes have now gone up in flames!
And today we had strange weather that wasnt forcasted!
it was 38 yesterday then 27 last night, then today we had a huge thunderstorm, we had rain and hail stones and we thinking we are next to flood the whole road filled up , and it was so noisy as well with the thunder above our house, poor mr fry came home like a drown rat and he didnt know what was happening, he was out in the hail stones, and now we are getting more rain, last week we had no power and now we have rain and noisy thunder... its all strange!!

Aww Linley truly awful, of course such a difference in temperatures is no good. We had been having great variation too, like those 11 or 10 degrees in one day, it's too much. Of course if that goes accompanied by oscilating Atmospheric pressures is even worse.
Just hope you will not get high water.
I so much wish this bloody season to end, I am reading some journals from other friends in USA and it's also very bad about the cold and the amount of snow that there is everywhere.
I personally love loud and strong thunder noises but when I am safely home and no danger of disastrous results.
OK I will keep my :fingerscrossed: for things to work out well for you there. :glomp: :blowkiss::iconcrazysoloplz:

We are safe here, the storm has passed and its hot , blue skies, windy..but now we have fires in Australia, now 59 homes gone..here s the link from this mornings news.[link] this fires are partly to do with the cyclone in queensland...... oh not the noisy thunder, its the lightening that i dont like, its scarey!! yes the weather is all over the place at the moment, australia seems to be getting the worse of it.. yes i read about the snow over in america and it killed a few ppl too... i dont know whats worse...i think mayfire, they have got ppl out of their homes, so now one has died...but they have lost everything.

Terrible disasters Linley, again I am glad you are OK and there is not --apparently-- any immediate danger.
I am sorry for the terrible costs involved for the country in general. Have not heard any problems from most of my other "Aussie" friends fortunately. I kept the link to do some virtual traveling around Australia with more time :D
